  • Our church is located at:

    2115 West 182nd Street
    Torrance, CA 90504

You can also view our services on YouTube livestream and Facebook Live, accessible from our home page.

  • Our parking lot faces 182nd Street. Overflow parking is available toward Nijiya Market, but as a good neighbor, try to leave the spaces closest to the market entrance for their shoppers as much as possible.

  • Greeters welcome you at the door before the Sunday service starts and can answer any questions.

Please sign in at the Welcome Table. We use this list to count worship attendance as well as for safety, in case of emergency, or to alert you for illness contact tracing.

If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, feel free to do so at any time. Masking also protects our kupuna (elders).

Upon entering the building, accessible/gender-neutral restrooms are available in the hallway to the left, and gender-specific restrooms are in the hallway to the right.

  • Please sign in at the Welcome Table along with the other congregants. Check the "New Visitor" column as you sign in and let the attendants know. You will get a welcome gift!

  • Our services blend traditional and contemporary elements including hymn singing, scripture readings, a sermon, special music, and prayers. On your way into the Sanctuary, an usher will give you a worship bulletin with the day's order of worship.

After service, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for light refreshments, coffee, and tea. It's a great opportunity to connect and meet others in our community.

Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month.

  • Our dress code is casual and informal. We encourage you to come as you are and feel comfortable.

  • Absolutely! We encourage everyone to express their faith through singing, clapping, and joyful praise.

Anyone interested in serving as an usher, liturgist or greeter is encouraged to sign up for the Worship Committee or Welcome Committee for training prior to getting scheduled.

  • Yes, we provide safe and loving care for infants and children up to age 3 during the 10:30 a.m. service.

  • The Garden ministry is our Sunday School for for children aged 3 (must turn 3 by September 1 of the school year) up to the 5th grade. They start worship in the main service, participate in the Children's Moments segment, and then proceed to their classes.

During the summer months and at some holiday services, there may be times when children will attend the duration of the main service.

  • Youth (grades 6 through 12) meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Chen Annex.

There are two general youth age groups:

    • TGIF (Together Growing in Faith) for grades 6-8

    • MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) for grades 9-12

The TGIF and MYF groups often have joint activities together, as well as special events with other youth groups.
