Senior Hangout

First and third Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m.

Fellowship for seniors that meets twice a month for a few hours of fun, fellowship and refreshments. Activities include conversation "talk story" tables, crafts, card games, mahjong, or iPad/iPhone assistance. Bring a friend, or make new friends here!

Baby & Me

First and third Thursdays, 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Guided time of faith with baby talk, prayer, play, and singing for caregivers/guardians and their children ages newborn to age 5. Following the guided session, the nursery is available to fellowship and have free play. Baby guardians are invited to bring their own snacks and join in the time of growing in faith.

Faithful Healing

First and third Mondays, 9:00 a.m. on Zoom

Strengthen your natural healing abilities and take an active role in the healing process through a meditation that connects with your Christian faith. Led by Alan Saruwatari, CST, a shiatsu therapist and Qi Gong practitioner.

Pathways Hiking Ministry

Sign up for easy hikes on local trails, led by church-affiliated Scoutmasters. The pace is dictated by the individuals  present on the day of the hike. The initial training session (video) explains hiking preparation. Contact Glenn Murakami or Alan Saruwatari.

Parenting Groups

Intergenerational family gatherings including pop-ups, movie nights, Epiphany dinners, viewing parties, and potlucks. Keep an eye out for announcements of upcoming events of different types to share knowledge, experience, and raise our children spiritually and biblically together:

  • Mochi Club - Family events for fellowship and fun providing a way for community to encourage “sticky church” in the midst of busy lives. Includes “Deep Roots” family devotion dinners to explore raising our children in faith

  • MISO (Moms In Search Of…) - Support for moms

  • TOFU (The Open-Hearted Fathers United) - Support for dads

Men’s Breakfast Club

Second Fridays, 8:00 a.m.

A monthly breakfast gathering for men of all ages at Country Touch Cafe. Please notify Herb Aoyama, Roger Butcher, or communications@faithsouthbay.org if you will be attending so they can save you a seat.

Caregivers’ Support

First and third Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m.

Support to those who are caring for aging parents and loved ones. We also provide resources for elder care, Alzeimer’s disease, and other end-of-life concerns.

Women’s Grief Support Group

Second Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m.

Women in Transition: Join this group of women for support, encouragement and fellowship to help you journey through the difficult life change of losing a loved one.  Contact Rev. Allison.

Men’s Support Group (MSG)

Second Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m.

Primarily for widowers, MSG meets to support those experiencing the loss of loved ones.  Activities include cooking, sharing food together, and exploring participants’ life experiences and life redefinitions as they see their significance in light of Christian belief.
